Boston Touring With New Vocalist – Brad Delp Tribute Singer

Guitarist Tom Scholz is taking his band Boston on the road across North America this summer, kicking it off June 6 in Thunder Bay, Ontario’s, Marina Park. It will be the band’s first live shows since the death of original vocalist Brad Delp. To fill the shoes of Delp, Scholz recruited Stryper frontman Michael Sweet and Tommy DeCarlo, a fan who posted Boston covers and a tribute to Delp on his myspace page. DeCarlo’s day job is as credit manager in a North Carolina Home Depot, but this summer he’ll be on tour! Check out his pipes at He has a sound that’s undeniably close to Delp’s.

After the tour, Scholz hopes to finish recording the band’s next album and have it ready for release soon after the first of the new year. For tour dates and more Boston news, visit
