Awesome List dude, though I would disagree and say that Tom Sawyer is probably their most recognizable song. That being said it still doesn't belong on this list...LOL

I cant argue any of the other songs except to say that my personal tastes vary just a bit. I like Armor And Sword as my favorite song on "Snakes"

And if I had to put a "#11" in there it would be Between The Wheels Live from S&A Live.

My top 10 (you will find 10,000 different fans with 10,000 different lists)

1.Freewill
2.Subdivisions
3.Red Barchetta
4.Witch Hunt
5.Armor And Sword
6.Between The Wheels
7.By-Tor
8.Xanadu
9.Secret Touch
10.Spirit Of Radio

I feel like I am cheating on certain songs by not naming them......

[...] unknown wrote an interesting post today onHere’s a quick excerptAlex opens with the Spanish-inflected classical guitar bit before dropping into the opening proper with its crystalline guitars, synthesizers swirls and bells, as Geddy and Neil join the fun. The tune twists and turns like a rollercoaster, … I think this is one of Rush’s best use of keyboards, and Neil’s lyrics capture perfectly the isolation and bewilderment that so many teens have felt among their peers and surroundings at one point or another.
I was at a pool hall in Ann Arbor back in 19 and 98 and someone put By-Tor and the Snow Dog on the suitably loud video jukebox. I was happily reminded just how much that ditty, for lack of a better word, totally rocks. (Best song title too, it ought to be noted.)

A buddy o' mine caught a show last year and reported that the team was tight and seemed to be having themselves a grand ol' time. As Elder Statesmen of Canadian Prog-Rock go, it's hard to beat those guys.

"When I was in high school, I used to come home every day after class, put on the headphones and try to play this on drums. "

Right before you got your ass handed to you on the blunt pitch!
